Job Description

The Assistant Data Analyst is responsible for maintaining the Society's Lobster Recruitment Project and Commercial Trap Sampling Project databases, including collecting data from members, quality assurance of data, data entry, analyzing data and developing, producing, and distributing standard data products, and report preparation. The Employee will perform the following duties under the direction of the Research Biologist.

The Fisheries Technician’s primary responsibilities will be to participate in at-sea and shore-based sampling programs, including the FSRS Lobster Recruitment Project, Lobster Collector Project, V-Notching Project and Size at Maturity Study. Hello Acadia Students!

This is intended for those interested in volunteering for the 7th annual Hannah Miller Memorial Hockey Tournament that will take place on Sunday, March 11. Hannah was a seven-year-old girl whose life was tragically taken in a car accident, in 2005. She had just completed her first hockey season and loved the sport.  This tournament is held every year in memory of Hannah for children in IP1 and IP2 divisions (children ages 6-9).
