The Acadia Students Union hereby presents the following Tenants Guide for Acadia Students.
This guide includes information on: renting apartments; mobile and tiny homes; the rules of a tenancy contract and how to abide by them; handling crime, discrimination, and stressful situations; what your landlord legally can and cannot do; and finally, how to be a good tenant and community member.
This guide further includes links to supporting documents and websites, Wolfville community bylaws, and the ASU's volunteer opportunity page. It is our hope at the ASU, that this guide will serve as a helpful tool to students adjusting into life off campus - many of whom, it will be there first time doing so.
Anyone with further questions on this Tenancy Guide is asked to contact the
Vice President Academic and External at email@example.com
