AXE BAR & GRILL
is looking for students who wants to work on
WAIT/ BAR STAFF
While on duty, the position of Wait Staff works to ensure the competent and friendly service of food and/or drinks to patrons of the Axe Lounge and Students’ Centre bar events. Wait Staff report to the Manager.
DUTIES: Serving drinks and food at the Axe Lounge or at Students’ Centre events. Also responsible for stock, cash, and cleaning of the bar.

THE ASU
is looking for a
KITCHEN SUPERVISOR
This is a FULL-TIME position
Duties include all aspects of food production and control, as it pertains to the flow of food through the kitchen and into the dining room. You will also be involved in the procurement of food supplies and the maintaining of a clean and safe work environment. As Kitchen Supervisor, you will provide support and leadership to a team of part time students, while working closely with the Bar Manager. Some administrative duties may also be required. You will liaise with the front of house staff to maintain a smooth flow of food and assist with maintaining a high level of both customer service and consistent food quality.
TERM: August 2022 - May 2023 (potential for extension through summer)
RATE OF PAY: $17.35 per hour plus Vacation Pay, tips
PREREQUISITES: Previous food production experience is essential. Must be kitchen savvy and feel at home in a kitchen environment. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Experience in fast-paced environment. Food Safety Certificate considered a large asset.
HOURS: Approx. 40 hours a week, may vary depending on support staff availability.
